Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most famous work is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and the Powerful It Is Where I Leave You, as well in the TV seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Amantha helden, who is her current part as a character in Rectify which airs on Sundance Channel. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. Her fame was based on her performances on Rectify (a drama) and Timeless (a sci-fi). Born in Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut with a part in the soap opera All My Children. The actress was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award for the Outstanding Female Newcomer. In the following years, she mainly played roles as guest stars on a variety of TV series. The most well-known was her role as Dr. Erin Jameson, in the television show Hawthorne. With the aid of her dazzling looks and amazing acting skills she managed to grow a huge fan audience. Her first film appearance came at 20 years old, performing in the film Campfire Stones. In addition, she has appeared in Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. She earned a nomination in the Madrid International Film Festival Award' for her role in the movie Beautiful Now'. Most recently, Spencer played Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. Spencer received a Teen Choice Award nomination and is also being highly praised for her performance in the series by critics.
